Property HistoryMatchingDonors.com purchased the property at
35 Turnpike Street at auction from the Town of Canton in 2014 with the intent to renovate, sell, and use all proceeds to support organ transplant patients.
In 2015, an electrical fire destroyed the existing structure beyond repair.
Skinner Demolition generously donated the demolition and removal of the damaged building.
Jim Lamarr, owner of
JML Custom Building & Design,
Inc., subsequently cleared and graded the property and planned to donate the construction of a
2,500-square-foot home to MatchingDonors.com.
Tragically, Mr. Lamarr passed away before construction could begin, creating this meaningful opportunity to complete his vision and extend his legacy through life-saving philanthropy.
Development ReadinessAll engineering work and percolation testing have been completed.
The property is approved to support a 73 ft. x 38 ft., 7,300-square-foot, five-bedroom residence, featuring:
